On Sunday we stopped in Indiana after six hours of driving through four states. We started in Pennsylvania, drove all the way through Ohio (felt like the longest state ever), then entered into Indiana, shot up to Michigan and then back down to Indiana again. We finally stopped in Goshen, Indiana. Goshen is a cute little city that feels like an urban city, but in a suburban setting.
Everything closes so early here. We were looking for something to eat for dinner and ended up with some ice cream as it was the only place open. We found a pet friendly pace to stay at the Best Western in Goshen. The Best Western has no pet fee too!!! :) One of the coolest things here: a high school with the same initials and colors as my old high school!
So far so good with the dogs. Just a little whining from my papillon, Mr. Darcy. But, we went on a really long walk through the city of Goshen tonight and they are out like lights now. Alright, Green Bay tomorrow!! I can't wait!

First Stop 6/23: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
One of my best friends growing up, Lauren, lives just north of Pittsburgh. Thus, our first stop. From Albany, New York, Pittsburgh is about 8 hours away. We left Albany around 11:30 a.m. and arrived in Pittsburgh just before 8:00 p.m. We BBQ'd and hung out on Lauren's gorgeous patio while the two boys played with her dog, Nala. We had a blast!
On Sunday, 6/24, we went downtown into Pittsburgh and had a famous Primanti Bro's restaurant. I got the corned beef with onions... of course, there is the famous coleslaw and french fries in the sandwich too.
